Types of STEM CELLS and stem cells

Properties of each type of stem cell and its uses

1. Stem Cell from Bone Marrow

2. Stem Cell from bloodstream PBSCs

3. Stem Cell from Umbilical Cord Blood (HSCs)

Stem cells blood group

There is medical information that can be used to treat more than 85 diseases caused by abnormalities of the blood, lymphatic system, and other diseases, which can be divided into the following groups:

  • A group of anemias in which hemophilia has an abnormal structure, such as thalassemia.
  • Leukemia group
  • Bone marrow disorders
  • Congenital immune system defects, such as anemia
  • Metabolic genetic disease
  • Cancer or diseases that affect stem cells in the bone marrow, such as lymphoma.
  • Other diseases that can be used include SLE (multiple organ inflammatory and destructive disease).
  • Autoimmune disorders, etc.

Limitations of use

  • Must pass tissue compatibility test
  • Bone marrow must be donated. You cannot use your own.
  • Bloodstream can only be used by oneself.
  • Umbilical cord blood for yourself only. If using someone else’s blood, there must be at least 4 out of 6 matching tissues.

4. Stem Cell from Umbilical Cord Tissue (MSCs)

Stem cells are a group of tissues that have the ability to grow or repair damaged tissues. They can change into specific cells in various tissues, so they are used to restore various degenerative diseases, such as:

  • Old age or age-related degenerative disease
  • Rheumatoid arthritis, various degenerative joint diseases
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Diabetes
  • Autoimmune disease : SLE
  • Restore damaged skin and beauty, etc.

Storage period: Can be stored only on the day of delivery.

Limitations

  • No restrictions
  • Suitable for everyone in the family
  • No tissue compatibility check required when using
  • Convenient to store, no risk
  • Safety at every stage of storage

5. Stem Cells derived from Amniotic Membrane (MSCs)

Stem cells are another type of tissue that is younger and can help restore or repair damaged tissues and can change into specialized cells in various tissues.

Diseases of the brain and nervous system, such as cerebral infarction or cerebral thrombosis, cerebral palsy, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, autism, and Parkinson’s disease.

Storage period: Can be stored only on the day of delivery.

Limitations

  • No restrictions
  • Suitable for everyone in the family
  • No need to check compatibility
  • Tissue when needed
  • Convenient to store, no risk
  • Safety at every stage of storage

6. Stem Cell from Adipose Tissue (MSCs)

Stem cells, a group of adipose tissue that has the ability to grow or repair damaged tissue and can change into specific cells according to the original properties, are therefore used for benefits such as:

Storage period: Store whenever you want.

Limitations

  • Can only be used by the owner.
  • No tissue compatibility check required when using
  • Convenient to store when stored on delivery day
  • There are some risks when using liposuction.
